At Daily Blooms, we believe that flowers are a beautiful way to communicate human emotions.
They can be used to convey everything from happiness to gratitude, sympathy, compassion and joy.
So, when Valentine’s Day rolls around, it’s no surprise that many couples choose flowers to express one of the most alluring emotions of all: LOVE
Thursday February 14th, we’re helping you to express love with our extra special Valentine’s Day bouquets. Brimming with a variety of locally grown blooms, including spectacular roses, our limited-edition bouquets will be exclusively available in a special large size only.
Although there are many different varieties of flowers which can be gifted on Valentine’s Day, roses are the hands-down winner in terms of both popularity and relevance. In fact, the flower has been a symbol of love since ancient times.
In Greek and Roman mythology, roses were supposedly created by Chloris, Goddess of Flowers and Springtime; and became the favourite flower of Aphrodite, Goddess of Love and Beauty. Roses have also been used as a symbol for love and romance by countless poets, writers and philosophers throughout history.
Now that the flowers are sorted for your special someone, the next challenge is where to take them. If you didn't already know, Melbourne and Sydney offer heaps of cool events on Valentine's Day. We've taken the pressure off you and picked a bunch of our favourites that are sure to impress your lass or lad.
