And just like that, 2025 comes to a close. What a year it’s been, bigger, bolder and more beautiful than we could have imagined. None of it would have been possible without you, and we’re truly grateful for every twist and turn along the way. 

Reflecting back on the year, here are some of our honourable mentions 

This year, you showed the love in the biggest way possible. Valentine's Day and Mother’s Day were truly record breaking, with blooms sent far and wide to celebrate love, gratitude and the people who matter most. From grand romantic gestures to heartfelt thank yous, it was a powerful reminder of how meaningful a simple bunch of blooms can be when words aren’t quite enough.

We also marked an exciting new chapter with the launch of Flower Press, our online series created to slow things down and spark meaningful conversation. Across Seasons 1 and 2, we welcomed inspiring leaders, creatives and visionaries into our world, sharing honest chats while we primed, snipped and arranged beautiful blooms. It became a space for storytelling, creativity and connection, and it’s been incredibly special to watch the series grow. We’re so proud of the conversations that came to life along the way. 

This year, we had the opportunity to host two truly heartfelt community moments: the Flower Press Event and our Embrace Your Space Homebody campaign event. While we connect with our community every day online, opportunities to come together in real life are rare, which makes these events feel especially meaningful. Stepping away from the screen and into shared spaces allowed for moments of connection that felt real, unfiltered and deeply energising for our team. 

To celebrate the launch of our new digital series, Flower Press, we brought our community together for an intimate evening at That Paper Joint in Brunswick. With a glass of Silky Wines in hand and nibbles on the table, guests spent the night collaging, creating and connecting, turning a midweek evening into something genuinely special. Guests left with armfuls of blooms, their handmade pieces, a DB tote and the kind of glow that only comes from a night well spent!

Kicking off our Embrace Your Space campaign, we spent a beautiful morning with our community at R L Foote Design Studio. With matcha by Matcha Mami, pastries from Cobb Lane and refreshments from Bobby’s setting the tone, guests were invited to slow down, get hands-on and create their own hand-painted vases and sake glasses, each one uniquely personal.

The morning wrapped with smiles all round, as guests left with our Homebody bouquet, special pieces from Feather & Noise, and a renewed inspiration to embrace their space this winter through colour, creativity and flowers.

 
Whilst this wasn’t a community event, it marked our very first flower cart activation in the Melbourne CBD. We brought the energy to the streets with a lively spin-to-win activation, inviting passersby to take a turn for a single stem peony and peony-themed prizes, including the chance to walk away with a show-stopping giant peony bouquet. The response was incredible, turning an everyday city moment into something playful, unexpected and full of pink blooms.

We were incredibly honoured to be recognised for doing what we love most, delivering exceptional flowers and even better experiences. This year, Daily Blooms was awarded Customer Service Excellence (Online) by Inside Retail, and named a Top Innovator by Power Retail, acknowledgements that mean so much to our team. 

We’re also immensely proud to see our leaders recognised individually, with Courtney Ray (Founder & CEO), Bella Bazeley (COO & Head Florist) and Meg Perelaer (Digital & E-Commerce Manager) placing in Inside Retail’s Top 50 People in eCommerce. These moments reflect the passion, care and dedication that go into everything we do, and we couldn’t be more grateful.

As we close the chapter on 2025, we’re stepping into the new year feeling inspired, grateful and more connected than ever.
