You know when you scroll through someone’s feed and everything just feels right? There’s a warmth, a vibe, an aesthetic that’s totally theirs. That’s what we noticed first—and it’s what made us want to dive deeper. From running a creative studio to building a community online, here's a little behind-the-scenes peek into Eloise's world.

When we scroll through your socials, your aesthetic is so strong, how would you describe your design style?

I feel like I gravitate towards warm toned colours but besides that it's just what I like! I try not to be too defined by set themes however natural sunlight and warm tones always feels like myself.

When you meet someone new, how do you describe what you do for work?

I've been self-employed for almost nine years (wild) and I still struggle with this, because it's not a one-word answer. I normally say I run my own creative studio between photography and graphic design with a focus in branding.

What has the road to Digital Creator looked like for you?

I love it! Having a community online and connecting with like minded people, really helps me when I'm working alone at home most of the week. I've learnt so many things from other creators too and made lifelong friends. It's always changing and I'm lucky to have a few different avenues across art, design and photography / instagram to keep it fun and interesting.

Recently, you were diagnosed with diabetes. You have been generous in sharing your story online, how has this diagnosis changed your life?

I love talking about it because prior to being diagnosed I knew nothing about type 1 diabetes. It's the four-year anniversary this April since being diagnosed and while it's gone fast it also feels like the biggest learning curve I've ever had. I keep a little notes tab in my phone for how diabetes has changed my life for the better and I think it's grounding to come back to that. I have a lot more empathy and understanding for the silent struggles everyone goes through. When I have Mums messaging me saying that they show their young daughter my page, with my sensor / glucose monitor as "inspiration" it makes the sharing all worth it. I don't necessarily want to be the poster person for type 1 diabetes but educating my following and (trying to) changing the stigma feels important.

What’s something you wish you had known when you first started working for yourself?

ALWAYS always have a contract. Make sure it's legit and as you encounter problems, update your contract. Knowing this has saved me many times however it wasn't sorted until a few years into business.

What is the best life advice you have ever been given?

It's so hard to pin this down to just one but I think more so to trust your gut and not compare yourself to others. It's so easy to see other people doing incredible things online and get into the comparison trap. Also I feel like good people deserve good things, as long as you have good intentions things will work out for you.

It's your bestie's birthday, which Daily Blooms goodies are you sending them?

The green Gaia vase and the arrangement it comes with! I think having a vase accompanied with flowers is such a thoughtful gift. Not to mention I adore Anthuriums and they last so well.
